Link drops and an import inbox
Restaurant maps, hotels, tickets, and ideas stay attached to the trip. Share a link into Treksy, then review it before it joins the plan. Paid trips can extract a booking from a dropped link.
Crew attendance and stays
Who is in, who is maybe, and where each person is sleeping — per city. Dates and stays can remain TBD until the group is ready.
Live crew map
During the trip, see where the group is — connected to the itinerary. Sharing is opt-in, visible, and expires. Location is never used for advertising.
Document vault
A temporary shared place for travel documents on a paid trip. Files follow a fixed deletion date so storage does not linger after the trip ends.
Expense splitting
Choose a payer, assign travelers, and split equally, by amount, or by percentage. Per-person balances stay with the trip. Splitting costs is free.
Calendar and weather
Export the itinerary to Apple Calendar and keep destination forecasts nearby. Both stay on the free plan.

Before you invite the group
Is Treksy free?
Yes. Private planning, one active collaborative trip, invites, calendar sync, destination weather, and expense splitting are free. Organizers pay only when a trip needs recommendations, automation, temporary document storage, or live group coordination.
Who pays for a trip?
The organizer. One Trip Pass covers the whole crew. Friends you invite do not need to pay to join, view, or take part in a paid trip.
What do Trip Pass and Treksy Plus unlock?
A $7.99 Trip Pass is for one trip. Treksy Plus is $29.99 a year and includes unlimited Trip Passes while you are subscribed. Both unlock “For this trip” recommendations, import extraction, the document vault, and the live crew map.
Do I need the app to join a trip?
Invites open through a link. If Treksy is installed, the trip opens there. If it is not, the same link points you to the App Store — or to Support until the listing is live.
Does Treksy sell traveler data?
No. Treksy does not sell personal information or use trip content or location for advertising. Location sharing is optional, rounded, visible only to active trip members, and deleted when you stop sharing or leave.
